Today's Box Office: No cure for The Hangover Part 3

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- THV 11 Film Critic Jonathan Nettles says The Hangover Part 3, lacks a punch line.

In The Hangover Part 3, the Wolf Pack bands together once more to take Allan to a rehab facility in Arizona. Along the way, they are run off the road by a Las Vegas area gangster known as Marshall. If you'll recall a line from The Hangover where "Black Doug" realizes that he sold Allan the wrong illegal drugs, he says "Marshall is gonna kill me", it's that Marshall. Marshall takes Doug and tells Allan, Stu, and Phil that they must find their trouble-causing friend Mr. Chow and trade him for Doug. Their quest leads them to Tijuana and then back to where it all started, Las Vegas.

A Place to Call Home: Dakota

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- At the Hearts and Hooves therapeutic riding center in Sherwood, the gate is closed and "Peanut" the horse is all saddled up.

"Watch your step going up the block," instructor Sarah Harmon warned, as 13-year old foster child Dakota got himself ready to ride.

Harmon lead the way, teaching Dakota how to listen and direct his horse. It's a magical lesson for a boy with no mom, no dad, and a mild disability.

"He has moderate hearing loss," said DHS family services worker Nancy Shaikh. "He wears hearing aids. He can hear without, but just not as well."

Dakota loves all animals, but especially horses.

"Hamsters, dogs, cats, horses, all kinds of animals," he said.

His love for animals is a testament to his pure and giant heart.

Bears stay alive with comeback win over Lumberjacks

SUGAR LAND, Texas (UCA) -- The University of Central Arkansas Bears outscored Stephen F. Austin 6-0 over the final four innings Thursday to grab a 7-3 victory and stay alive in the 2013 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament at Constellation Field.

The Bears (35-20), who tied their school record for victories and won their first NCAA Division I postseason game, got a solid four-inning relief appearance from freshman Blake Clayton and three RBI from senior second baseman Blake Marchal. Clayton, a lefthander from El Dorado, threw two-hit, scoreless baseball in relief of senior Jeffery Enloe, striking out three and walking none.

"Jeff (Enloe) did a good job hanging in there and then Blake Clayton came in there and did an outstanding job,' said UCA head coach Allen Gum. "And we got the lead there late and could take some pressure off Blake a little. That was big.'

Conway man gives back with popcorn for kids

CONWAY (KTHV) -We all do our best to give back to our communities maybe through a charitable donation or volunteering at an event. But, for about the past ten years a retired Conway school teacher, has given back through a bag of popcorn for his neighborhood kids.

THV 11 found out us about this story through a hand-written letter mailed to us recently about 82-year-old Monty McMahan. His son wrote us a two-page letter about a simple act of kindness that sends kids to his father's home once a month for a free after-school treat.

Monty McMahan gears up for a special day in his neighborhood with a little advertising out front.

"Buttery salt for the popcorn. Got to use what I think is the best," said McMahan, as he pours that salt into a cup of kernels.

It's part of the recipe for his popcorn that gets "popping" every year around late August.

"When school starts is when I start," McMahan said.
