Thirty-seven people participated in the second annual Cardiac Rehabilitation Heart Walk at the Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center.
The event was held Friday as part of American Heart Month activities. Walkers included former patients and family members enrolled in the cardiac rehabilitation program at Conway Regional.
Most people in the rehab program were referred by their doctors because they have experienced some form of cardiovascular disease, a hospital spokesman said.
