Personal fireworks prohibited in many areas | News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Many county and city officials have prohibited the use of fireworks due to the hot and dry conditions throughout the state.

The use of personal fireworks is prohibited in the following areas:

• Conway
• North Little Rock
• Petit Jean
• Little Rock
• Maumelle
• Benton
• Bald Knob
• Dardanelle
• Searcy
• Pine Bluff

In addition to county officials, the Arkansas Forestry Commission discourages any use of personal fireworks while under a burn ban.
